When I was 5 years old, I went with my Dad and brother on a fishing trip. As awful as this sounds, my father accidentally hooked me while casting the bait on the end of his fishing line. I was looking at the lake when I suddenly felt a tug on my head but don't really remember being in pain. What I do remember is sitting on my father's friend lap and admiring myself in the rear view mirror on the way to the hospital. I had a lovely feathered lure hanging down the side of my head and thought I looked like a Mythical Princess . I do believe my love of adornment started then and there. I have always loved jewelry and continue to be inspired by natural forms and colors. I have studied under Lisa Spiros whose work can be seen in the Metropolitan Museum and Museum of Art and Design.
